Hi, I'm Cary.

Certified Professional Organizer® and founder working alongside my team to design thoughtful systems that restore balance to busy lives.

MEET THE TEAM

The holidays are a season of connection — of gathering with family, welcoming dear friends, and opening our homes to the people we love. One of the kindest ways to honor those moments is by preparing a guest room that feels thoughtful, comfortable, and inviting. With just a few intentional touches, you can transform any spare room into a restful retreat your guests will truly appreciate.

Here are our favorite ways to curate a lovely guest room for the season ahead.

St. Frank

Start with Beautiful Bedding

Nothing sets the tone for a welcoming guest room like crisp, comfortable bedding. Begin with breathable cotton sheets — percale if you love a cool, hotel-style feel; sateen if you prefer something smoother and silkier. Layer in a cozy throw at the foot of the bed and finish with two sets of pillows: one soft, one more supportive. It’s a small detail that brings instant comfort.

Clear Surfaces + Create Space to Land

Prepare a clean, simple nightstand with just the essentials:

These thoughtful additions help guests settle in without needing to ask for anything.

If possible, offer an empty drawer or designate a section of the closet for their belongings. Add several wooden hangers and keep a lightweight, cozy robe hanging inside — a welcome luxury for early mornings or late-night routines. A luggage rack is another helpful touch, giving guests a practical, elevated spot for their suitcase.

Little Touches That Feel Big

Thoughtful, functional details help guests feel instantly at home:

  • A couple of magazines or a favorite book on the nightstand
  • A notepad and pen
  • Tissues in an easy-to-find spot
  • Extra blankets in a closet or dresser.

These finishing touches add comfort without overwhelming the space.

Keep the Bathroom Guest-Ready

Whether your guest room has an attached bath or shares one with the household, a few simple touches make a big difference:

It’s also nice to add extra toilet paper, first aid and personal hygiene items within reach.

A Thoughtful Welcome Goes a Long Way

Preparing a guest room isn’t about perfection — it’s about offering comfort. With a few intentional touches, you can create a space that feels considered, inviting, and ready for holiday visits of all kinds.

And if you’d like help refreshing your guest room or getting your home holiday-ready, our team would be happy to lend a hand.
