Why we kept wandering back outside.
Living in Los Angeles, we’re lucky to enjoy outdoor living almost year-round. Whether it’s a quiet morning coffee on the patio or dinner with friends under the stars, a well-designed outdoor space can become one of the most-loved parts of a home.
We recently visited Quince’s The Art of Home pop-up at the Sunset Tower Hotel. Every room was beautifully styled, but we somehow kept wandering back outside. The outdoor furniture was what really stole the show for us.
We’d admired Quince’s home collection online but seeing everything in person made all the difference. We could actually sit in the pieces, feel the materials, and experience the craftsmanship in a way you just can’t from a website.
What we liked most was how classic yet relaxed the collection felt. It was easy to picture the furniture in our clients’ homes—and honestly, in our own backyards too.
It reminded us that the best outdoor spaces aren’t just beautiful – they’re organized. Cushions, pool towels, gardening tools, sports equipment, and furniture covers all need a home. Thoughtful storage is what makes an outdoor space easy to enjoy every day.
Outdoor Furniture We’re Loving
The Curved Teak Outdoor Sofa was one of the pieces we kept coming back to. Its rounded silhouette feels fresh and unexpected for outdoor furniture. Paired with lounge chairs and a coffee table, it creates the kind of outdoor living room you instantly want to settle into.
The Solid Teak Collection had a completely different feel. It’s understated in the best way and lets the natural beauty of the teak take center stage. We could easily see it working in a modern backyard, a more traditional garden, or just about anywhere in between.
Another favorite was the Curved All-Weather Wicker Lounge Chair. It has a sculptural shape but still feels relaxed and comfortable – one of those pieces that could work almost anywhere, whether on its own with a side table or as part of a larger seating area.
Outdoor furniture can get expensive quickly, especially once you start looking at solid teak and performance fabrics. We think Quince strikes a really nice balance between design, materials, and price, especially with custom covers and complimentary white-glove delivery included.

Garden Sheds
